I am excited and thrilled to extend my heartfelt greetings as we proudly unveil the launch of Alberta Outdoors Magazine. With a fresh name and an invigorated sense of purpose, we stand ready to embark on an exhilarating journey through the boundless wonders of Alberta’s great outdoors.

As they say, a change is as good as a rest, and those words could not be truer than they are today for all of us, readers, writers, and advertisers. The former Alberta Outdoorsmen has paved the road for the new Alberta Outdoors. Twenty-five years and our magazine has undergone a remarkable transformation, shedding its former identity to embrace a more dynamic vision of outdoor adventure.

As we usher in this exciting new era, we are thrilled to invite you along to join us on an exploration of the vast and incredibly wonderful landscapes that Alberta has to offer. Alberta is easily the most diverse province in all of Canada, from the rolling prairies to the majestic Rocky Mountains, to an incredible abundance of wild fish and game, no other province can lay that same claim—Alberta has it all.

With the launch of Alberta Outdoors, we are introducing a new design and new categories to our magazine, each designed to inspire and empower you to embark on your own outdoor adventure. From hunting and fishing to camping and biking, Alberta Outdoors will take you on an adventure across Alberta in each issue. Whether you’re seeking the serenity of a secluded backcountry camping retreat, or the camaraderie of a secluded backcountry hunting camp, Alberta Outdoors is your gateway to unforgettable outdoor experiences. Whether you’re a seasoned trailblazer or a novice adventurer, our team is dedicated to helping you discover the joys of outdoor exploration whether on foot or two wheels.

And for those of you that crave the thrill of rugged outdoor challenges, our wilderness survival and bushcraft section is your indispensable resource for mastering the art of self-reliance in the wild.
